Hi again

Is it possible to FORCE a higher resolution on a PowerBook G4 (Im only getting 1152x..) like that program (Powerstrip) for WindowsXP ??

Yes you can. Just go into system prefs, display, and uncheck the 'show modes recommended by display' and see if any new choices pop up.

The Powerbook uses a TFT as display. TFTs have a native resolution, everything else is interpolated.

So if you want to run a higher resolution, this would be interpolated to the lower resolution of the display (like scaling a 20" image down to 15"). So you don't get any more information on screen than the native resolution. By interpolating it even gets blurry.

There is no point why one should do that.
