Homehighway and panther

I am using(was) bt homehighway to connect to the internet. however eberything was running fine untill i repaired my permissions and updated my prebindings. for some reason i can not connect to ANY internet provider via homehighway. Even if i do manage to connect the connection is so bad it wont load any web pages or do anything apart from run my phone bill up. when i connect with the internal modem everything is fine, all my isps work fine. but i wanna use homehighway which gives me 128 kps access, any idea on whats causing this or is it probably a problem with the line itself

well i solved the problem. it's a problem with installing the software from the cd, the one on the web page works fine, but if i install it from the cd it screws up. maybe it's installing it from the cd itself thats doing it and i should have maybe out it on the hardrive, either way its fine now so i aint playing about no more to cause the problem again :)
