hotmail and msn

all of a sudden can't log into either of them, safari can't find the hotmail page, neither firefox, what can i do? or is it a hotmail issue?

its very annoying, hope someone can shed some light

There is an Internet protest against the SOPA today. I don't know how widespread the protest is or the ways in which it will manifest itself. One of the things that I have noticed is that certain sites take longer to begin loading. I am able to log into my Live account. However, I was not able to do it immediately. With a system as big as the Internet, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between local issues and global problems.
