How can I get access to the harddrives on other machines on my local network ?

If I try to connect to the other macs on my network with the admin password on the said mac, I have the oppurtunityto choose wheter I would like to access the harddrive volumes on the machine in addition the admin folders.

How can I access the hard drive volumes if I log on onther mac in the network with a regular userpassword instead of admin?

You have to set the permissions on each hard drive or folder to share it. (As admin on each mac) click one to highlight the drive, then do Get Info (command-i).

There is also a shareware (freeware ?) app called SharePoints to help with complicated setups.
