How can I get more power to USB?

I recently plugged in a USB device and got an error message that said something to the effect of "USB is drawing to much power, the connect device has been disconnected."

I have 6 devices plugged in at the moment.

You might need an active USB hub, which is one that uses a power supply. Remember that there's only a little bit ofvoltage that is being pushed passively to al the devices, and all the devices must share this voltage amount. However, if you add another USB hub that's powered you should be OK.
