How can I save network user/password?

You talking to me!
The Finder network icon is a good feature but do you know how to save login preferences like in 10.2 so I don't have to re-enter user and password info everytime I connect (after a disconnect or restart)?

OK I found the answer.

Command+K, then enter the afp://IP number of the other Macs, then you get the network options as in 10.2 and then you can save passwords and login stuff. You also get the server on the desktop.
