How can I test to see if my ISP is blocking port 25?

Is there anyway to test using Terminal if my ISP is blocking port 25? I know there was a way to do this through an MS-DOS prompt in Winblows, but I'm not sure how to do this on OS X.

Use the Network Utility to check which ports are blocked. Your ISP, I don't think, would block ports, but your firewall will.

Some ISP's do block ports infact i know mine also sniffs packets in order to slow down bittorrent.

However my bet is that its your firewall would do it before your ISP would.

Point taken. Actually, you have to specifically open ports to use games like World of Warcraft on the pc. I downloaded it and almost started playing...but I don't have the time for it anymore and came back from that cliff.
