How can I untar a split tar archive?

Hi,

I've got a tar archive that's been split up into 7 parts. Is there mac software that will untar this for me or can I do it via gnutar?

Use cat and tar together

cat file1 file2 file3 | tar -xvf -

should to the trick, but check it I did not test it.
