How Customizable is OS X?! ...

Well, i've read a few people mention the lack of a theme manager or somthing, with OS X (i mean, part of the OS!) ... and i am just intrigued 2 see some "different" OS X Desktops, by that, i mean, it being Customised some way, from Out of the Box Aqua! ... i Liked that Grassy Dock Thing, that was Cool! ...anything more?! ...

PS. This is the one GREAT (well, not the only GREAT thing! lol) about XP ... its VERY Customizable! (if u know how! )

Well, lessee, I have 8 or 9 different themes on my hard drive right now. I can use all kinds of different Dock backgrounds (but prefer totally transparent). Using TinkerTool, I can change the system fonts. I can have multiple docks, or use 3rd-party alternatives like DragStrip.
I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting...
