How do I add an iBook wiht G Airport Wireless Card to normal B network?

Ok, we have 7 PC's online in my house. The limit is 10.
When I get my iBook, I want to connect it to the network, with the built in airport extreme card. How do I go about this? is it standard?

The modem router is an ISP one (Bt Voyager 2000). The iBOok should work, right?
Thanks,
Convert.

That's what I thought. It's just the modem came with software for the PC's....now, is the software necessary?
Because if it was I'd have to find a mac format for it, right?

Cheers mate.

I am excited about my iBook. I love MAcs for some reason, I don't own one nor does my family. But I tried the iBook a lot, its great...
If I can hook it up on the network it'd be even better...

Shouldn't be any problem at all connecting to your Network.

If you run into problems, just come back here.

Macs are known for the best compatibility. I don't think Convert will come back, but for other reasons I hope he will.

Dudes, I intend to stay here. I know it seems like I'm one of those people who vcomes to a forum for one problem and leaves, but nope....I'm a forum regular....

My Linksys router comes with the setting "Mixed" which means a B or G airport card can access it's network; it broadcasts both.

Your router, hopefully, has this option as well.
