I did a few large (gigabyte) file transfers on my iPod by enabling it as a firewire HD. However, when I trash the files from my iPod, I don't regain the space the files took up. Is there a way to clear transferred files off, and leave my music, contacts, & calendar intact, or do I have to restore and resync it to regain my lost space? Thx.

Did you remember to empty the trash before you ejected the iPod off of your Desktop?
I've done that one a few times...if you do, you won't see the file on the iPod, but it's just sitting there in the Trash waiting to be thrown away....
