How do I clean my mac mini?

Hi, I have a used mac mini and there is some odd residue on some parts of the top shiny area of the mac mini, anyone have any recommendations of ways to get rid of the residue? I've tried water and rubbing alcohol but to no avail...thanks!

If it’s adhesive from a label or something, lighter fluid (the liquid kind, naptha) will remove it. It won’t harm plastic, I use it all the time to remove that gooey residue, it’s the only thing that works. Just squirt some on a soft tissue and wipe.

I cleaned sticky residue from an iBook last week with a product called "Goo Off 2". You can get it in the paint preparation section of your paint & hardware store. It works wonders.
