How do I create an embedded HTML email?

wicky

play thing
I want to create an email which is an embedded html web page, with active links, etc. (just like the ones Apple (and the spammers) send me).

Does anybody know how I go about embedding it? I use "mail" as a email client, do I need to use something else once I've created the web page itself?

Any advice will be musch appreciated.

Cheers

Thunderbird by Mozilla is excellent. You just attach your HTML file and it should send as an HTML email. Give it a try. It's free!

Many free email providers (*cough* Mail.com *cough*) provide you with an HTML editor that lets you format your correspondence with fonts, colors, etc. (though I don't know about images).

http://altern.org/mail is in french, but it's free and if you jsut create the pages with *any* html editor (or just in html) and paste the code in the webmail, it works.

Many people have a html filter though - so unless they have saved your address to their address book or consider you "safe" the html mails may just end in spamfilter.
