I would like to create a desktop animation from a series of gifs that i have, i would like it to be able to just loop on my desktop without any window, just float where i drag it. Is there anyway to do this.
thanks

Checking what? You mean you're bumping the thread after merely a few hours? That's not nice of you...

To answer your question, though: I don't know of any software that does that. You can set your desktop picture to a folder that automatically changes between the pix every few seconds, but I guess you want them in a window (although without any borders)...

Sorry, I checked after a few minutes! This is my first time posting and i didnt see it int he forum list, but then i saw it down below, that is why i posted two messages. My bad, now i know. My son has a thing on his desktop that is some cats that run around and play and sleep and such, i was wondering if there is any way to create something like this. thanks

Oh, I didn't even see that it was only five minutes. ;) ... What you want is a little animation. Does it have to be your own pictures? Because if not, you might find neko-on-desktop a sweet little alternative. :) -- update: I've just searched the whole net (*cough*) for "neko on desktop" (that's what the little app was called back in the days) and I couldn't find a download site for it anymore. :/ ... Hasn't anyone still got this?
