How do I fix aliases or open previous Firefox versions?

I have lost some important bookmarks from my previous Firefox version. I see some Firefox alias versions on my computer but when I try to open them, the computer says I need to fix them...how do I do that? How can I open previous Firefox versions so that I can copy some of those lost bookmarks?
 
Firefox will always use bookmarks from the same file, therefore any version of Firefox should probably have the same issue.
