what, your window opening with an offset? just grab the window and drag it back up where you want it. getting the automatic offset of new windows disabled is one of those added features many of us would like to see added.

ok, thanks, i was just tired of dragging it. was wondering if it was me or safari

I think there is some 'Safari Enhancer' or something on VersionTracker, but it requires another application to be installed first. I didn't install this 'Enhancer' because the program it required sounds like one that could potentially be fairly hard to remove, and I am trying to keep those off my system!
