Dear All,

I think like everyone in the world, I use a Iomega ZIP disk at work. Sometimes, I need to use PC disks so that I can give it to my colleagues. One thing that I found out to my surprise is that I can't Format Mac Zip Disks to PC-DOS within MacOS X. I have been to the Iomega website to see if there is some software, but there isn't.

Is there any shareware/freeware to do this, or is there a trick to do this?

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

I know I can run Iomega Tools in Classic mode, but that not really a solution to my problem.

Thanks again.

1. Startup Disk Utility in Mac OS X.

2. Click on the "Erase" tab.

3. For "Volume Format", select MS-DOS File System.

4. Click the Erase button at the bottom of the Window.

This should do it. I think I did this once and it worked.
