I have a beige G3 tower that has a VooDoo3 3000 in it. When i try to play like Quake3 or UT in OSX, it says that i dont have a OpenGL compatible video card, but my V3 works fine in OS9. I wanted to know if i could get like a Xtasy GeForce3 to run in my Mac, with the drivers Apple supplies with there newer G4's? If anyone HAS a PC GeForce card running, please tell me how you did it!!
You can't just stick a PC video card in your Mac, install Mac drivers and have it run. The only way I've heard of that working is if you flash the video card's ROM with that of the Mac's equivelant.
Snoop around www.xlr8yourmac.com (more specifically their forums) and hopefully you'll find something that will help you. That's really your best bet.
