I am an administrator at a university and I monitor around 100 macintosh computers. We are looking to make the switch between Classic 9 and OSX. Is there any way to make a bootable copy of your hard drive? In Classic 9 I have been able to create build disks containing all the applications that I want to run on the computers. With the build disks I know what applications are on different computers and I don't have to waste time by installing every OS and every application individually on every computer. Is there any way to repeat this process with OS X. I have tried numerous 3rd party software to create backups and always get errors.
