How do I save streaming video?

I'm referring to the kind of streaming video that you download, and can fast forward, rewind, etc at will, but are not given the option to save to disk, not "streaming video" in the sense of streaming music, i.e, internet radio...I'm not sure if streaming video is the right term @ all. I just found a GREAT video about the Apple Campus online, and Quicktime (I have QT Pro) doesn't give me the option to save it. I know that the downloaded video resides in a temp folder or something on my HD...and there MUST be some sort of terminal finangling that I can do to save it so I can watch it again anytime. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Look at the page source of the HTML page on which the movie plays. There should be a url to where the movie is stored. You can use this url to download the movie directly, or use the Open URL command in Quicktime.

An easier way to save a video stream in Safari is to open the Activity window and look for the .mov file (or whatever) and Option–double-click it. ;)
