Hey, you know how, when you walk into the Apple store, they have the DV cameras hooked up to he Macs, so as you walk by, you see yourself on the screen, and, if you want, you can record life directly from the camera to the Mac, without DV tape?
How do I do that?
I have my dad's Canon GL1 hooked up to my Mac, and I'm sitting here with iMovie open.... but when I put the camera in "Camera" mode and make it like it's ready to record, I just get a blue screen in iMovie saying "No Camera attached"... yet it works fine with iMovie when I put the camera in "VCR" mode... what's up with that? what do I have to do to get the camera's live image to pass through to iMovie?
