How do the bluetooth kb/mouse work?

Does it still require like a base station that you have to plug into a USB port? I odnt know anything about bluetooth.
 
The bluetooth keyboard and mouse work through a bluetooth connection, which can be a USB dongle or built in to newer macs. If you don't have a G5 or a newer powerbook then my guess is that you don't have it built in and would need to get a USB plug to enable the bluetooth.
From there the keyboard and mouse should work perfectly.
 
Try eBay, they're quite cheap. The other useful thing Bluetooth allows you to do is sync the numbers/calendar etc on your mobile.
