How do you increase the size of the scrollbar and window control buttons?

My mouse control isn't that good, I'll admit, but I find it hard to hit the window control buttons and scrollbars correctly (and the window resizing at the bottom right). To make it easier for me, I'd really like to increase the size of the buttons and scrollbars. Is there a way to do this in OSX 10.3? I'm so used to doing it in Windows by just going to display properties/appearance. Surely OSX should be able to match this, but I can't find how to do it.

the only way to really make them bigger is to use a higher res. you have mentioned one of the small handful of way that windows is a bit better.

I swear by it and use it even though I already have scroll on my mouse. I have found ways the built in scroll is better and ways this app is better. try it.
