How fast does your iDVD 2 encode?

Related to the thread below. How long (mins) did/does it take you to encode your Project?

Seeing as 2.0.5 encodes the mpeg2 files in the background, it should only take the timne to burn the data onto the DVD-R.

iDVD2 will "prep" the movie files in the background while you are working. If it finishes this prep before you go to burn, the burning can go quite fast. If it doesn't, it can add significant time to the burning process.

I burned a 90 minute DVD in about an hour. I've also burned 30 minute DVD's that took about an hour, so there's no lynchpin factor you can estimate burning time from. There are lots of factors...
