How long has it been since you needed help with a classic app?

so, how long has it been since you actually bothered to fix a classic app rather than replace it with a new osx version or equivilent? i think i have bought two things that required me to install os 9 versions of software since i started running osx by default - my keyboard and my vhs video input device (which i haven't installed yet)

i suppose it's not really important for me to know this but i noticed that this forum was being neglected and withering away. just like what will probably happen to software makers who don't give us osx versions!!
