How ro stop Spotlight indexing my Firewire drive?

I quite often connect an external Firewire drive from work to my Mac at home, but every time I do so Spotlight immediately starts to index it. This is really annoying as firstly I have no need for it to be indexed at home and secondly Spotlight is unavailable when it's indexing.

Does anyone know how to exclude certain volumes from being indexed?
 
Try 'System Preferences' (via the 'Apple' menu or '/Applications/Utilities/' folder) 'Spotlight's, 'Privacy' tab.
