How to change settings for webcam in yahoo messenger?

I'm trying to help out a friend with her Yahoo messenger and webcam, the thing is that she is in france and i'm in sweden, so I can't just pop over....

We got the webcam (USB) working with the help of maccam. It works perfectly in Yahoo messenger, but the colors are a bit strange (very red and also the brightness is way upp). When she goes into the settings on messenger she can't fins any settings for the camera except to choose source. Can someone please tell me where to go for color settings and such? Is it in maccam or messenger and where are they?
 
Yahoo is using the macam drivers. However, you should try the macam app to see how the video looks like in there. Macam allows you to adjust everything.
You didn't mention if one of you (maybe her) is on pc and why you are using yahoo when you can have ichatav.

Well I'm on a pc... and we did check in maccam (should probably have mentioned that) and it looks the same there. Can you tell me exactly where the settings are for maccam and yahoo, since im on a pc it's hard to do trial and error testing...
