How to force Application to use PROXY setting?

Hi, I'm using Satelite broadband and for some reason I can't get HOTLINE OR PITBUL PRO to use the PROXY setting I need to use to use the Satelite Download - it just reverts to my ISDN dial up account (which is used as mostly my upload as my satelite is D/L only. ANyone got any ideas?
