How to install gnome.....

How do I install gnome without fink? Fink doesn't support 10.2 and I just did a fresh install on my FW HD of 10.2 in the hopes that I could use this for X11 stuff while still not screwing with my main installation of X.

Any help is appreciated.

In my experience fink works just fine with Jaguar. Take a look here.
