Hi All,
My iMac is G4 700Mhz and 768mb RAM running OS X 10.4.
Now, we can lock the ScreenSaver in the Apple Menu-->System Preferences...
-->Security to lock and unlock the sceensaver, and it will takes effect at once.
When we modify the ~/library/preferences/Byhost/com.apple.screensaver.<hostId>.plist,
the key is "askForPassword", but we need to logout/login to take effect.
When locking the screensaver via the System Preferences, is there some process that is killed and restarted? How to take effect without logout/login likes what the SystemPreferences do?
Thanks very much.
Joe
