does anyone know how to force the modem to handshake? the reason I ask is I have to set up a support site for the ISP tech support I work for, and they want a way to troubleshoot no dial tone simular to how we do it in windows, which is open a terminal window, or hyperterminal and do "ata" which makes the modem handshake, I am looking for someway to do this in OS X...
