I just downloaded an avi-file which I can't playback in any player for macosx (at least those I tried: quicktime, vlc, mediaplayer)
I need to paste this avi into my ppt-presentation and I should make it run over quicktime. But it doesn't work. The format of the codec is iv31.
Is there any converter out there? Tried many, but nothing works. Mediaplayer running on a windows machine allows to play back the movie just fine. Any chance to convert that video?
In worst case I thought of capturing the video running over virtualpc!
would this work? And if so, where to get such a capture software?
