how to print photo?

I have a lot of directories containing photos
I would like to print all photos contained in a directory without having to import them in iphoto?

how to do?

I have tried with Preview but it seems to print only one photo in one shot....

Use Automator to generate a workflow. You should be able to then save it as an item available in the contextual menu item of the Finder...
 
You can get my Automator workflow "PrintPix" here. Unstuff it, open it in Automator and save it as a plugin for the Finder:

Then, you can just select all the pix you want printed, choose PrintPix from the contextual menu item and all the pix get automatically resized/rotated and printed to your default printer. You can change the script according to your needs, of course, before saving as a plugin.

and with this I can also set the printer to print 4 page in one?
 
you could just temporarily import them into iphoto (drag them all into the iphoto sidebar, creating their own playlist), print them, with all the four-up and other options you want, then delete them., it seems like you want something very specific, that apple have overlooked. what is the reason for not wanting to import them into iphoto?
 
I don't want to import in iphoto because the archive is well organized in directory and subdirectory, there are about 5000 photos and I don't want to risk to lose control of them
 
I don't need templates (I select 4 page in one with the printer driver)

the only thing I need to a program that sends to the printer for ex. 10 pages each containing 1 photo
