How to setup USB modem on iBook with Mac OS X?

Hello,
I'm using an old iBook Power PC G3 with MacOS X and i want to connect my android cellphone as a usb modem to go online on that mac since it doea not have wireless capability how do I do that on a Mac?
I used it on my windows computer with no problems.
Any help? Thanks
 
I think the only thing you will need is to go to Network preferences > Show Network Port Configs and then add a new one - USB. And then you'll probably set Configure using DHCP in the TCP/IP section.

Try it and give us specific questions (you realize we don't use the version of OS X you have, right?).
