How to unbind "Close Window"?

I'm new to Mac OS X and I can't seem to figure out how to unbind cmd+W from closing my window. It's an Emacs shortcut for "copy" and I keep inadvertently closing the editor window. >.<

I've looked through the System Preferences and couldn't find this particular shortcut. Google and forum search don't seem to be yielding useful results (unless I'm searching for the wrong thing). I can't be the only one with this issue. Any advice is appreciated. I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.2.

Thanks!

Maybe try attacking your problem from the other end.
I just did a google search for "change Emacs keybindings" and found a dozen or so hits.

Yea, my solution so far has been using ESC-w (ESC is interpreted as alt/cmd in some environments). The problem is that I'm trying to untrain deeply ingrained muscle memory and the fact that pressing alt-w still "copies" in Windows- and Linux-based Emacs is not helping me break that habit. >.<

Obviously, I can cope with this inconvenience, but unbinding cmd+w would still be the ideal solution. Was just wondering if there's something obvious I'm missing.

Thanks for the suggestion, nevertheless.
