We will be looking into starting up a monthly HOWTO for the DTP/Graphics/Multimedia forum. This thread is exclusively for suggestions on topics that we will deal with in these HOWOs.
More information on the HOWTOs will be posted in the near future, for now if you have any ideas on topics you'd like to see covered, please post a reply here. Please refrain from posts other than topic suggestions within this thread.
Examples of what we're looking for:
(More specific of course, if needed.)
How do the create those nifty aqua buttons?
How do I create a (specific document) in InDesign?
How did they create that E-Bay logo? What programs and method should I use?
If you want your topic to be addressed in a specific application, please note this. Be aware that some applications may not have a strong following among other members, and you may not receive much help if that's the case.
Since Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Quark are the most popular applications in the Mac Design Community, preference will be given to these requests.
Also note that while we have very little mention of apps such as iMovie, Final Cut, QuickTime, etc...we are not ruling these out. These HOWTOs are open to any topic normally covered in the DTP/Graphics/Multimedia forum.
