[HOWTO] Macosx brushed metall for free?

I wanted to get rid of that white look of my 10.2.5 macosx.
I like the brushed metall look of safari and would love to make everything on macosx look like that.
Is there any way to make it for free? Don't want to have any fancy theme-changing tools which cost money.

You can able / disable the metal / non metal look of ANY Cocoa application.

Finder and iTunes are in Carbon, nearly most other OS X standard apps are in Cocoa.

It does not slow your system.
