Problem is, that I want to test php-scripts in powerbook occassionally without internet connection (at home).

I have static IP at work and a domain with ISP and use my (Jaguars) TowerG4 and Powerbook behind NAT firewall.

Do I need DNS service in my powerbook in order to get php send mail via sendmail (or exim, postfix) to pop-service (UW-imap or Qpopper) to check script works ok?
Is there a way to use for example Netinfo instead?

After I've tested my php-scripts I'll upload them to under my domain.
