got a new HP 245 photosmart printer ... does a great job..BUT
when printing through iphoto, the 4x6 borderless will leave tabs on both ends rather then the one end its supposed to. if a SD card is put into the printer directly..it works perfectly. Any suggestions? Ive tried all the prefernce/page setup setting i could think of.

I have the Photosmart 130 and had the same problem. The picture that comes from your camera is not in a 4x6 aspect ratio. When you stick a card in the printer, the printer automatically crops your image for you. Double click on the photo you want to print in iPhoto so the edit window comes up with your photo. Set "Constrain" to 4x6 (either portrait or postcard, depending on how you want the photo printed) then make a box around the parts of the image you want printed, the box will stay at a 4x6 ratio. Once the image is selected, click on crop. Then print your image and all will appear correctly.
