HP 6840 and OS 10.4.4

I am having an issue with printing certain things from my iBook os 10.4.4 to my HP Deskjet 6840 ..

It doesnt matter if it is connected via usb or wireless..The same thing happens each time.

I also have the latest driver from hp ..I have done an uninstall/reinstall as well as a manual uninstall ..Manual includes deleting the com.apple.print as well as other files ..

When I go to print a powerpoint ..The printer only prints one page. I have renamed the powerpoint ..I can get it to print once but the second time it only does the first page. Then the printer exhibits flashing lights ..

I am unable to get it to print past the first page in TurboTax as well. I even tried saving as a PDF and printing - same issue again. Flashing light syndrome again..

I can successfully print a word document after this ..I have to unplug the power on the printer and plug back in again.

I know it is not the printer ..has already been replaced ..
Please help ..

 
Page format problem, maybe? Maybe your documents' settings are different (US letter) from your paper (A4)? (The formats are just examples, could be vice versa.)
 
The page setups are all fine .... Checked that as well ..this has me stumped ..

There are no newer drivers ..It has been uninstalled andreinstalled and even manually removed .. Still same result ..
 
Is their any sort of log with your printer's software? I know with mine, It says "Out of ink" or "Out of paper".. and that sort of stuff if something is wrong.
 
Self test is fine .. ink level is full .. lots of paper ..

I do think it is the driver for the printer..
