Has anyone else had problems printing from any model of mac running 4.4.5???

We know the printer is working as it prints fine from PC's on the network.

Im sure ive covered all the possible veriations of Protocol type i.e. Internet Printing Protocol etc. and checked the printers IP adress is correct.

I did check on the HP website and noticed they have a Driver Alert for OS X...just wondered if anyone else has been having similar problems??

Ugh, HP. :(

When did the problem start?
What's the error message?
Are you using the very latest driver?
HP are notorious for being slow to produce updates for Mac drivers.
 
Latest driver is installed from the HP website

Theres actaully no error message

the file gets sent successfully, then starts the spoolong process (I can see this on the actual mac itself)

On the Printers job queue, it labels jobs 1,2,3 etc....and seems to assign a job number for a job sent from a mac, however this doesnt show up in the Printers job Queue, so say 2 jobs were sent from PC first....job 1 and 2
then the next job was from a mac and the next one from a PC again the Printer queue looks like this.... 1,2,4...it misses out the job from the mac but seems to know something was sent

hopefully they willl sort out a new driver....there is also a new firmware driver available that we need to install on the printer...maybe that will help?
