HP Deskjet 6980 Printer

1.) Bought the HP printer in the USA.
2.) Printed in color and black just fine.
3.) Moved to Europe.
4.) Printed in color and black just fine.
5.) Color 97 cartridge ran out of ink.
6.) Bought the European 334 Color Cartridge.
7.) Error message wrong Zone cartridge.
8.) Ordered two 97 Color Cartridges from the USA
9.) Installed the 97 Color Cartridge.
10.) Error cartridge is not compatable.
11.) Wrote HP several times no help. Phone number
not funtional that were sent to me.

Suggestions?

If you can't beat them, sue them. I hate how printer makers try to make their money with the (very cheaply produced) cartridges instead of the printers. Since I personally don't have to print in colour that much, I've made a good decision. I'm only using a monochrome laser printer at home. More than enough for most things and print quality is far better than those inkies. If I need a quality colour output, I'm using real machines in a copy shop or at the office.
