HP LaserJet 4MV tabloid option problem

I just purchased a used HP LaserJet 4MV with the optional lower cassette for 11x17 paper. I am running OSX Tiger 10.4.7 on a Powerbook G4 1.5. I'm connecting via a crossover ethernet cable. I installed the HP driver package 5.5.2.051, and can see the optional cassete installed in the options, but I don't have a tabloid paper size in the page setup dialog when the laserjet is selected. If I set up a custom size for 11x17, the option is greyed out to use it. Printing to 8.5x11 works great.

The printer prints a test page correctly on 11x17 from the lower cassette, but I can't find anyway to successfully print to 11x17 from any program, including acrobat, even from the manual tray.

Is there any suggestion might have as to the solution?
 
OK, apparently I had not restarted after installing the drivers and selecting the correct options in the printer options. Now it works! Thanks to the tech at MacOSX.com who suggested that. :)
