Next school year I am going to be teaching a computer course for honoros middle-school students. The program is funded by Dell, what happens is Dell gives us (the school) like 25 bare-bones computers and a load of parts (ie; bigger hard drives, faster processors, better video cards, more ram, etc) and I have to teach the kids how to use the computer first .. then as the semester goes on I teach them how to upgrade the hardware on the computer. And at the end if they've passed, they get to take the computer home and keep it.
It's a good program because these kids are under-priveledged. Too bad this wasn't through Apple.
