I want to listen to System 7 sounds like before!

I have a large collection of System 7 sounds. You know the kind; double-click them and they just play in the Finder. If you hit escape, it stops playing.

Anyway, whenever I open them in Mac OS X, iTunes takes over and plays it, but it also adds it to my Library. This is annoying when I just want to sample the sounds in a folder like the old way.

Is there a replacement program that I can assign all sounds to? I've looked and cannot find.

Does Column-View preview work? (Don't have any Sys 7 sounds myself)

No, surpisingly my QuickTime Player wouldn't read the files. But lo! Column view works great. Thanks for the tip.
