iBook 12 vs. 14 inch battle

I am in the market for a new lap top and I am torn between the 12 inch or 14 inch. Of course size matters and would like to have a bigger screen. However, if I get a 12 inch and save some money, I can get an iPod as well.

My question is:

Is the 12 inch to small for Dreamweaver,Flash and other apps that need a few toolbars open with a timeline, etc.

Keep in mind that the resolution for both iBook models maxes out at 1024x768, so you won't be seeing more information on the 14" model, it will just be displayed larger.

I used an iBook 14" for months. I recently replaced it with an iBook 12". No regrets!!

I use my iBook for web development... surfing the web... listening to music... chatting in AIM... email... writing papers for college. Really, no regrets.

Unless you got bad eyesight, I'm sure you'll dig the 12" iBook, too. And when you don't, just take a glance at the iPod you bought with it... it'll be all good.

I don't own either (damn I want a laptop!) but from what I've seen of them in AppleCentres, I much prefer the 12". Its more compact and generally looks nicer while you're not losing out on resolution - the pixels on the 14" are just bigger. If you're doing stuff like Flash/DW/Photoshop, try and go for the 12" Powerbook though, the G4 will make a difference.
