iBook Enter Key sporadic

For some odd reason my wife's enter key on her iBook doesn't always respond when pressed, occured rather suddenly while she was typing a letter. Sometimes it has to be pressed multiple times, other times it works every 2 or 3. Not sure how to check if something has come loose or somehow interfering with the connection. Doesn't "feel" like there is anything physically intefering, presses the same as any other key. Any suggestions?

You can lift out the keyboard by releasing the tabs, then gently unclip the key and clean underneath it with a cotton swab. You might also try a touch of electrical contact cleaner but be careful to use it lightly and wipe it up with a swab.
