Well here is something that has stumped me.
I have an iBook G3. Up to now this has worked
iBook + VGA dongle + external monitor or data projector.
This always produced the desired result of video mirroring.
Now (for what reason I do not know) this does not work. While the mac boots up and I have the apple on the screen with the little twirly thing on the bottom going round and round, the external device does mirror the ibook, BUT as soon as it changes to the "starting xyz services" screen it stops mirroring.
I tried going into the monitor control panel to detect displays but no results. Nothing has been installed on the machine that would effect this - any ideas how it can be fixed?
