I have an iBook G3 800mhz, and I purchased a 512MB RAM upgrade. While installing the RAM I accidently broke one of the plastic latch things that snaps the RAM in place but the metal part of the latch is still intact, so I super glued it back on and the RAM seems to fit like normal. However, the RAM does not register as being installed on my computer under "About this Mac". Perhaps, I'm suffering from advanced Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, or I was sent some bad RAM, or maybe I F'ed the RAM up, or that little plastic latch was more important than it looks? Any help would be greatly welcomed.
