I recently purchased 2 ibook g4's on ebay. both are without os. i purchased 10.3 apnther and 10.5 leopard and am unable to get either to load on the ibooks. if i use 10.5 i can get into the initial screne but then it says it can not be installed, but it will allow me to open up system info and utilities. With 10.3 i dont even get that far. Is there a way around this to get one of the os to install?

If the install disks you purchased are "grey" colored and not designed for the "exact" model of computer you are trying to install them on, they will not work.
The grey disks come with each new apple computer and are machine specific, the install disks you need will be the retail versions which are "black" in color.
